About Us

When Rose McPherson was a toddler, she was diagnosed with an ultra-rare genetic disease with no name, and no cure. To her father, Casey, this felt like a death sentence... until he met with hundreds of biotechs, researchers, and foundations. Soon, he learned that we do have the tools and technology to treat Rose's disease, and many other rare genetic diseases. What we don't have, are the business models, pipelines, or financial support to do it.

To Cure a Rose Foundation was born to solve this problem. We're developing a treatment for Rose's disease quickly and sustainably, in hopes of expanding this program to treat other diseases just like hers. This is a crisis for the 200 million children who suffer from rare diseases, and we aim to address it. We do so by starting with Rose.
